1992 BRNC REUNION

If you joined BRNC in 1992, we would be delighted if you would take a seat in the Senior Gunroom, BRNC on Saturday 7 October 2017!

The targeted entry is September 1992 but there are so few opportunities to celebrate that we have opened the doors to all cadets in 1992.

We wish to make it as memorable as possible with a fitting journey down memory lane.

Booking is critical to ensure this event is viable. The more numbers we have earlier on, the more likelihood of securing support from the college staff and the Band for example. Naturally this has to be worthwhile for BRNC so the more confident I can be, the better position I will be to ensuring you have a fabulous evening.

RNRM Charity

You will all be delighted to hear that the Dinner aims to support the RNRM Charity. Some of you will be very familiar with the charity and its outstanding work, others possibly less so, but we welcome this event to raise awareness of the RNRMC.  £5 of your ticket will be paid to the Charity, there will be a surprise auction on the night and lots of Mess Dinner fines to help boost our charitable contribution.

If your company would like to make a donation of an auction/raffle prize please contact the organiser, or donate directly to the charity

BACKGROUND

EVENT INFORMATION

Having looked at the format of many reunion dinners held at the College, the most contentious decisions were regarding dress code and guests.  It has been decided that rig will be Black Tie (negative medals) and it will be a Stag Dinner only. We apologise if this doesn’t sit comfortably with attendees but rest assured, the dinners that have taken this approach have been hugely successful and enormous fun!

We will have a professional photographer to capture the occasion.

Your ticket price will include:

Pre Reception Drinks

Canapés

3 course meal

Red and white Wine and Port

Brass Quintet and Sea Shanty accompaniment courtesy of the BRNC Volunteer Band

We are not limited to numbers so more the merrier!

GETTING

THERE

TRANSPORT

It is hoped that if you attended the college in 1992, you will still remember how to get there! A bus service from Totnes will not be arranged so please arrange your own transport!

CAR PASSES

These will be issued on arrival to the college if you have accommodation booked.

Please book your ticket now!

It is intended to take a deposit of £30 from you now to secure your place. The remaining £58 will be required NLT 1 Oct 17.

We regret that due to the complexities of auditing the revenue, your deposit is non refundable. If this situation arises, there will be an equal split of the money to the RNRMC and the dinner.

WE ARE LOOKING TO COLLECT ALL YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS

It would be good to have your photo memories rolling during the dinner therefore please send me any digital copies you wish to be shown. Obviously the more amusing the better and we will be in touch nearer the time if photos are not forthcoming!!
